As another winter sports season ends, we pause to reflect on the remarkable energy, commitment, and care that so many individuals have poured into making our sports programmes possible.
At every training session, match day, early morning start, and after-school practice are the dedicated volunteers and teaching staff who give generously of their time.
To our volunteers – parents, carers, alumni, and community members –thank you.
Whether you've been coaching from the sidelines, organising transport, preparing kits, cheering from the stands, or helping behind the scenes, your support has made a real difference.
You’ve helped shape not just athletes, but confident, resilient young people who’ve learned the value of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
To the teaching staff & support staff who have stepped up as coaches, managers, and mentors – we are incredibly grateful.
We know your commitment to sport comes on top of an already full schedule.
The extra hours you’ve spent planning training sessions, traveling to fixtures, and encouraging students have not gone unnoticed.
Your impact goes far beyond the scoreboard; you are role models who inspire students to be their best both on and off the field.
Sport teaches lessons that last a lifetime – and it's thanks to you, our committed volunteers and staff, that our students can enjoy those experiences.
From the Sports Staff at OGHS – thank you.
We simply couldn’t do it without you.
