Our choirs must be congratulated for their performances at the Big Sing regional competition on Wednesday.

 Wairua Puhou, the Otago Girls' High School Choir and the Otago Girls' and Otago Boys' Combined Choir all performed outstandingly with our girls only choir receiving a high commended award for their programme. We look forward to the announcement of the top 24 choirs for the Big Sing National Finale later this month. The choirs would like to thank their directors, Mr Mac Te Ngahue, Mr Ben Madden, and accompanist, Miss Olivia Pike, for all their hard work preparing the groups for the competition.
