On Friday 1 March 100 ex-girls, along with prefects and some staff mixed and mingled in the school hall sharing memories of their time at Otago Girls' High School.

The gathering was the second social function held by the OGHS Alumni Association and was part of the build-up programme to our 150th Jubilee which will be held at Waitangi Weekend 2021. It was great to see such a mix of age ranges attending the event and the prefects enjoyed the tales they heard from some of these ex-students, especially when they gave them tours of the school.

We were all impressed by the high quality of the student performances; Wairua Pūhou, the choir, the jazz band and solo performances by Rose Stevenson and Marika Fukuzawa. The guests also enjoyed the opportunity to be able to sing the school song "The Chambered Nautilus".
