On Saturday 28 October the Otago Girls' Rowing Squad competed in the Otago Secondary Schools' Rowing Regatta held on Otago Harbour.

The squad entered 18 boats into the programme and won five races - Intermediate Quad, Intermediate Double, Intermediate Single, Junior Quad and Junior 8. The squad also notched up two 2nds and seven 3rds.

The highlight of the regatta was the Junior 8 winning their race after a tight tussle with Columba College. The girls repeated this in another tight race on Sunday during a club regatta.
