Congratulations to Rose Stevenson for selection into this year's New Zealand Secondary School's Symphony Orchestra.

Entry to NZSSSO is by audition, drawing from some of New Zealand's top secondary school orchestral instrumentalists. The course is limited to 100 players. 

This is an annual event where successful applicants have the opportunity to represent their school in a full size orchestra. The standard reached each year has remained high, to the extent that full-scale works can be performed. This course is widely regarded as a significant training ground for young players aspiring to membership of the New Zealand Youth Orchestra and ultimately to a career as a professional musician.
