On Wednesday 22 September Holly Paterson, Charlotte Becconsall-Ryan, Kiana Pelasio and Alice Moran were given the opportunity to have breakfast with the Silver Ferns coach Janine Southby .

Below are a couple of excerpts briefly outlining what these girls took away from the question and answer session.

Alice Moran

It was really great to hear about her experience in sport, not only as a netball coach but also as a player. She had a lot of knowledge about netball, which was easily applied to sport in general. I learnt a lot about what makes someone a great athlete and how it is very possible and achievable to go places with sport.

Charlotte Becconsall-Ryan

I found it really good to hear about her experiences, and she spoke well about sport in general as well. She had good advice for anyone involved in sport so there was a lot to take away from the talk.
