On Monday we held a special assembly to remember the victims, families and friends of the mosque attacks and to show our love and support to our beautiful Muslim students and to each other.

Tuesday's assembly though was all about moving forward together, staying positive and supporting each other. It was a lovely assembly but no one was prepared for the final performance by three of our lovely Year 9 students - Paige Milburn, Anna Yuen and Alex Maffey. They sang "Shallow" by Lady Gaga, from " A Star in Born". It would have to be one of the most moving student performances that have ever taken place in the school hall and they all received a standing ovation. What amazing talent and thank you for sharing it with us in a difficult time for our whole country.
