Last Tuesday evening Wairua Puhou held a full dress rehearsal of the programme they will perform at the National Secondary School Kapa Haka Championships in Palmerston North next week.

The performance was outstanding and showcased to our community the effort, energy and emotion that the group and Matua Mac Te Ngahue have nurtured over the years. The evening also provided another opportunity for our Maori and the wider community to celebrate the success and mana of our rangatahi. Collectively the ropu under the guidance of Mac Te Ngahue have created a waka that the students, staff, school and community are extreme proud of. We wish Wairua Puhou all the best for the up coming competition next week.
