Over the weekend, 18 athletes travelled to Queenstown to compete in the NZCAF 2019 Nationals.

Over the weekend, 18 athletes travelled to Queenstown to compete in the NZCAF 2019 Nationals. They were competing against all of the top regional candidates from all over the country, and all did an extremely good job competing in their heats. Six entries made it through to finals on the second day with some stunning results. OGHS got two medals from the Secondary Novice Individual category, with Ella Houp placing third and Ella Macgillivray placing second. Our fitness team TNT comprised of Darcie Evans-Tobata, Ayanna Geeves, Charli Osbourne, Naima Woodrow and Matilda Savage, also placed second in the Secondary Fitness team category. We also had some awesome results from the finals for Ella Macgillivray and Nicolca McLellan in Senior Secondary Team, Jordan Evans-Tobata and Chloe Hurley in Junior Secondary Team and Jordan Evans Tobata and Naima Woodrow in Junior Secondary Open Novice Individuals. The competition was tough, but all girls performed with integrity and should be thrilled with their results!
