OGHS Student Fleur de Clifford Shines at Entrepreneurs in Action

Cheree Henderson —

A massive congratulations to Fleur de Clifford (Year 12), who recently had a rewarding experience at Entrepreneurs in Action (EIA) 2025, held in Wellington from June 26th to 29th. Fleur's dedication and talent truly shone amongst a field of bright young minds.

EIA is a prestigious event that challenges students with real-world business scenarios, fostering innovation, teamwork, and entrepreneurial spirit. Fleur's participation was nothing short of outstanding.

One of the major highlights of Fleur's experience was her team's triumph in the Financial Futures Challenge. Their innovative approach and hard work paid off, securing Fleur a fantastic $4,000 scholarship for the Massey University Business School.

The good news didn't stop there! Just weeks after the event, Fleur received an email with even more exciting news. Thanks to her business mentor's advocacy, each member of her team was awarded a Raukaraka Performance and Innovation Scholarship 2025 from Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. This incredible scholarship is valued at $5,000 for her first year of study, which can be put towards accommodation costs in a hall of residence or as a contribution towards tuition fees. What an amazing recognition of her achievements at EIA.

The chaperones from the event were full of praise for Fleur, noting her exceptional contributions: "Fleur, you truly smashed EIA 2025! You were committed to your team and coming up with a truly epic idea. You showed great leadership in the team space and presented your pitch with clarity and confidence. Well done!"

Fleur was buzzing for days after the experience, a testament to the impact EIA had on her. We are proud of Fleur's achievements and her inspiring entrepreneurial spirit. Well done, Fleur.
