Year 9 students spent some time investigating the Monty Hall problem as part of their Probability unit of work. They played the game and recorded the number of times they would win (get the car instead of a goat) when switching and when staying with the same coloured balls. We then looked at the theoretical probability and whether it would be best to stay or switch in order to be more likely to win.
