Business as usual - Year 12 business awarded start up funds

Mr D. Trickey, Young Enterprise —

As we all know in the current environment it has been difficult for businesses to adjust.

The Year 12 students of start up business Flexi Rolla have done exceptionally well adapting to working remotely and this tenacity and flexibility (pun intended), has served the students well. As part of the Young Enterprise Scheme, they were asked to create an elevator pitch to explain their business and compete nationally to be granted up to $200 in Seed Funding from Young Enterprise and the University of Waikato. The pitch and business plan was deemed very high quality by the panel of judges, resulting in the team being granted the maximum $200, with their elevator pitch also being used as an exemplar and being displayed on the Young Enterprise’s Social media sites. Flexi Rolla are Ashleigh Allum (CEO), Oceana Campbell (Communications Manager), Enya McNeill (Finance Manager), Poppy Bain (Marketing Director) and Juliette Lucas (Production Manager). You can follow their business on instagram.com/flexirolla/ to see what the girls are developing. Here are some of their creative photos. Good work team.
