Year 9 students have started work on Geometry. As part of the topic, students need to be able to describe 3D shapes and their cross-sections. To practice visualising what the cross-section of a 3D shape looks like, students build the shapes out of playdoh and used string to slice them so they could look at the 2D made by the cross-section and name it.
