40 Hour Famine

Katherine McArthur, Year 11 —

On the 1st of July many Otago Girls' students participated in the 40 Hour Famine. The traditional 40 Hour Famine challenge is to go 40 hours without eating.

This year there were a few other ideas such as only using 40 litres of water for 40 hours, or walking, biking, or running 40 km in 40 hours.

The goal of this year's 40 Hour Famine fundraising was to provide clean, safe water to people all around the world who don’t have a reliable source of water.

Congratulations to everyone who completed their 40 Hour Famine goal.

We can't wait to see how much money was fundraised towards this great cause!

Your efforts will make a huge difference.

Information regarding collecting in the donation booklets will be sent to those who participated soon.
