OGHS girls competing in the Dunedin Cross Country series have had a fantastic start to the season and have produced some incredible results.

Rebekah Hill placed 1st in the Junior Girls' section of the Logan Park road race, an individual race she won by almost five seconds. She also had the 3rd fastest overall girls time. Other stunning results included Caitlin O’Donnell placing 6th in the Junior Girls', and Jenna Thorne placing 4th in the Senior Girls' race.

OGHS received amazing results at the Caversham Relay on Wednesday. The Junior 1 team of Caitlin O’Donnell, Jess Tyrrell, Becky De La Harpe and Rebekah Hill won the Junior Girls' section with a time almost one minute faster than the nearest competition. They were also the fastest girls team overall, having a faster time than all of the Senior Girls' teams. Rebekah Hill produced the fastest girls time overall and Caitlin O’Donnell was the 3rd fastest junior girl. Other outstanding results at this event include the Junior 2 team coming 4th, Junior 3 coming 7th and Senior 4 coming 6th.
