Special Exhibition at Otago Museum

Mrs C. Henderson, Administration —

We are very proud to have two of our students involved in this exhibition, Georgia Hall in Year 9 and Ruby Stretch-Treweek in Year 10.

What does a scientist look like?

Otago Museum's upcoming exhibition '100 women, 100 words... infinite possibilities' responds to that question, and the answer is… anything! From punk rock engineers to stay-at-home mothers, from senior university academics, to little girls with big dreams; scientists are everywhere and science is all around us.

Come and celebrate the women nominated as those who actively live and work with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) in all areas of their lives.

'100 women, 100 words... infinite possibilities' features beautiful digital portraits by local photographers paired with reflections from the subjects themselves of how science, technology, engineering, and maths has helped shape who they are and what they do.

These individuals, their passions, and their stories make them role models for everyone. Come along, and be inspired.
