Sports Trip Payments Before Departure

As we gear up for the summer season of sports trips and team events, we want to remind all parents and guardians that full payment for extracurricular trips must be received before the team departs.

These payments cover essential costs such as transportation, accommodation (if applicable), meals, entry fees, and other logistics that ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all students.

Why This Matters:

Timely payments allow our staff to finalize bookings, confirm numbers, and provide the best possible experience for our teams. Late or missing payments can cause complications and may result in a student being unable to participate.

To keep everything running smoothly, we kindly ask that you:

·       Check your payment status through the school’s online portal.

·       Submit all payments by the deadline provided for each trip.

·       Reach out to the school  if you’re experiencing financial difficulties or need to set up a payment plan—we're here to help.

Thank you for your continued support and for helping us provide outstanding opportunities for our student-athletes. Let’s make this season one to remember!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Ms Colleen Hokianga, Sports Coordinator.

Student Spectators at Sporting Events: Respect, Rules, and Representation

Sporting events offer students a great opportunity to come together and support their school or community teams. Whether cheering from the stands or waving banners in support, student spectators play an important role in creating a vibrant and encouraging atmosphere. However, attending these events also comes with certain responsibilities.

Students must ensure they are following all the rules of the venue they are in. This includes sitting in the designated areas, showing respect to players, officials, and fellow spectators, and avoiding any form of disruptive behaviour. Good sportsmanship should extend off the field as well—cheering positively and not engaging in taunting or negativity.

Another important point is school uniform policy. If students are attending an event in their school uniform, they are representing their school and must be dressed in full uniform. Partial or incorrect uniforms can reflect poorly on the school and may lead to being asked to leave the venue. Full uniform also helps staff and security identify students easily, ensuring safety and order at the event.

By following these simple expectations, students can enjoy the excitement of live sports while demonstrating pride in their school and respect for the game.
