Hi everyone! We’re Tessa and Anna, and we are very excited to be your Peer Support Prefects for 2023. Our role is to help ease the transition from intermediate to high school, and welcome the Year 9’s into our school community.

We’ve had the pleasure to run the peer support program over the last term, and have gotten to know your children at the Year 9 camp held earlier this year. This was a fantastic opportunity for our Year 13 Peer Support Leaders and the Year 9's to create memories and forge connections with each other. New this year, we’ve introduced the sister program. This initiative aims to support the younger students as we know how overwhelming it can be to start this new chapter of their lives. Each Year 9 student has a Year 13 ‘sister’ assigned to them. Their year 13 ‘sister’ is there to be a positive role model for your child to look up to and is able to provide them with support throughout the year.

We are extremely excited for everything that's to come for the rest of the year. Whilst the Peer Support program has come to a close, we have lots planned for the remainder of 2023 to keep building these connections - stay tuned!
