Rata Williams

Kia Ora everyone! My name is Rata Williams and I am honoured to be Head Prefect for 2024. I’m so blessed to have received this role and I can’t wait to make a difference in our school! In my role as Head Prefect this year I hope to make school a lively, fun and welcoming place for every student. So far, I’ve absolutely loved meeting all the new year 9’s and I look forward to getting to know everyone over the next few weeks, and it’s my goal to be a positive role model and be present within my school.

A few fun facts about myself; I love dancing and playing the drums, and I have been so lucky to be a part of an amazing band, The Burberry Scarves. If there is ever music playing, you can count on me to be dancing - even if no one else is! I also play the drums in the school jazz band, All Blues, and I am hoping to extend myself this year by joining the production for the first time! I love being involved in the community and helping others is very important to me. I love cows, snowboarding, going to church, and having fun!

I am so thrilled to be working alongside one of my best friends Laura Allison (Deputy Head Prefect), and I know that together we will make this year one not to forget. I have so many big ideas and I can’t wait to get the ball rolling - so stay tuned!
