Last weekend the Dunedin Youth Orchestra rehearsed at Otago Girls' High School. 

Sectionals were held in the Music Suite and Performing Arts Theatre with the full orchestral rehearsal taking place in the hall. Our own Rose Stevenson, Sarah de Vries and German exchange student, Malina Rutt, featured in the string and woodwind sections, with ex-girl Simone Arbuckle playing in the brass section. The orchestra is conducted by Associate Professor, Peter Adams, from the University of Otago Music Department.
