On Thursday 16 June, nine staff members performed their dance routines with their student partners at the annual ‘Dancing with the Staff’ concert.

The students and staff members involved had been working hard learning their routines for six weeks prior to the evening performance. Some of the genres of dance that were showcased included: flamenco, aerobics, Charleston, Grease tribute and salsa. The event turned out to be a fantastic spectacle! Congratulations to Mr Richards and Bethany Astwood who performed a Mary Poppins routine and gained first place and the prestigious ‘Dancing with the Staff’ trophy. Second place went to Ms Miller and Renee Cranstoun with a can-can routine and Ms Beaman and Sophie Day with their tap routine were third. Congratulations and a huge thank you to all those who were involved.

The event raised money for a Spanish language trip to Argentina and Chile that will take place in the September school holidays.
