2019 Basketball Otago Programmes and Representative Trials
- At the Edgar we have Diggers and Girls Got Game for 5 to 8 year olds and Miners for 9 to 12 year olds.
- We have Middle School Academy for keen 7 and 8 year olds at Balmacewen Intermediate.
- Stay tuned for a Girls' Only Academy at Taieri College coming soon (Year 7 to 10). The plan is Wednesday afternoons. Check the website in a week for more on that.
- For girls born in 2005 and 2006 who are looking to extend their skills, our head coach for the Otago Under 15 Girl's, Steve Robinson, will be running U15 Girl's Skill Sessions on Tuesday afternoon from 4 to 5pm at the Edgar. Ideally this is for young ladies who are interested in playing representative basketball.
- For boys born in 2004 and 2003 who are looking to extend their skills, our head coach for the Otago Under 17 Boy’s, Hamish Robertson, will be running U17 Boy’s Skill Sessions on Thursday afternoon from 4 to 5.30pm at the Edgar. Ideally this is for young men who are interested in playing representative basketball.
- Our U15-U17 Representative Trials are the 10th and 24th of February. Registration is online and under “Pathways” and “In Progress”.
