My name is Mr Fussell and I'm truly excited to begin my teaching career at Otago Girls' High School. It's an honour to join you all here during the 150th year of the school and become a part of OG's rich history.I was born in Perth, Western Australia, before moving to Melbourne, Victoria, to pursue further study, including honours in English and creative writing, and a career that aligned with my passions. After completing a Master of Publishing and Communications, and a sizable stint in the publishing industry, I discovered a love of teaching at a wonderful creative writing studio for primary-aged children. My experiences there led me to New Zealand where I completed secondary teacher training, and I'm now thrilled to be in Dunedin.In my spare time, when I'm not thinking about teaching, I'm probably thinking about books and films and everything else from the sphere of English. I love watching Australian football (Go Demons!), the NBA, and I've recently discovered a love of video games. Of course, I do like to go outside too, and I can't wait to explore the beautiful Otago region. I really do feel lucky to be here at OGs and I can't wait to meet you all, so please do come and say Hello!
