Camp Omakau
Going to this camp was very fun with some chill times scattered across the days. Most of the time we were playing games with our friends and having so much fun.
When we arrived at camp we set up our tents, unpacked the vans, as well as having some down time. After a while we went for a little walk.
We did horse riding which was very fun as we got to know our horse beforehand and to go on a bit of a walk with the horse and then trot after a while. The other activity was going on a bit of a walk on a nice sunny day. After the activities we got to go swimming.
There was also a croquet that we did with old people that play in that club. It was nice to have a bit of fun learning a new sport. At lunch we ended up at a park with a mini playground and we had some really hot chips. There was a very nice walk afterwards while we learnt about a man made lake, we swam after the walk in that lake. It was very cold but refreshing.
When we went to the school to go set up some activities with the little kids there, it was very busy. The kids there were very energetic and loved our activities. Afterwards there was a drive to Cromwell so we could have a lunch break there. Everyone quickly got dressed for the waterpark as we enjoyed the very cold but fun swim, obstacle courses, and slides. As we headed back to camp we got real fruit ice cream.
When it was our day of departure, everyone needed to pack up their tents and get ready so we could get on the road. There was a stop at Milton for lunch and then after we had a walk for a bit then got on the road again.
That camp was really fun, we definitely recommend it to everyone.
