Bula Everyone! My name is Janet Cikamatana, and I have the privilege to be your Pacific Prefect for 2026. I am passionate about celebreating pacific cultures and creating a welcoming space where our Pacific students feel seen, supported, and proud of who they are. 

A little bit about me: I love participating in sports as I've been very committed to the OGHS sports culture. I'm your 2026 netball co-ordinator, so definitely worth the sign-up. I come from a full Fijian background with a little bit of Chinese from my dad's side of the family.

My goal as Pacific prefect is to support and uplift students at OGHS by celebrating our cultures, values, and identities. In our small city of dunedin I hope to create a strong sense of belonging and for those to feel seen.

I am beyond excited to be working with the amazing prefect team this year and look forward to giving my best in this role.
