Sewing scholarship opportunities for volunteers and community members

Stitch Kitchen —

Stitch Kitchen has been given the opportunity to offer a limited number of places in our upcoming sewing workshops at no cost. This is thanks to scholarships provided by Perpetual Guardian who administrate the Tui Flower Foundation.

We have 4 scholarships for our Sewing for Beginners, which is our 3-week 'back to basics' course especially suited to people who have never used a domestic sewing machine before - or not for a long time.

We have 3 scholarships for our Kids Sewing Club, our 8 week class for 8-12 year olds, which enables them to build confidence with hand and machine sewing on a project of their choice with the skilled guidance of our tutors.

We also have 2 scholarships for our Freestyle Sewing, 6 weeks course which is very flexible and suited to anyone from beginner to more advanced. It's a great way to build confidence and complete a project.

There are heaps of benefits to sewing, from getting to know other people in an easy creative setting, to learning great life skills and discovering a new passion.

If you have any volunteers or community members who would be interested in any of these courses, please pass on this email and encourage them to apply through the link: https://tinyurl.com/3jxt7v54
