Yesterday during lunchtime, the Arts Council hosted the first ‘Gold Coin Gig’ fundraiser of the year. This was first introduced last year and was such a hit we decided to bring it back! The Gold Coin Gig is open to all students for entry where they can choose a talent they would like to perform, whether this is a group of people or a solo act.

 The event is hosted in the hall and is a gold coin entry for those who would like to come watch. Funds go towards the Arts Council, which supports our talented students in their artistic endeavors. 

There was such a great display of talent yesterday and it was lots of fun, with a great number of students who signed up. We had an awesome turn out and I know we especially enjoyed watching the support and encouragement from the students who came to watch!

 We will definitely be bringing more Gold Coin Gigs to OGHS in the coming terms so watch this space!
