Adriana Javier, Radius Fulton - Rest Home & Hospital Care

I've been enjoying and learning a lot from my work placement. I enjoy taking care and feeding the residents the most. My conversations with them are always interesting and the other health care assistants are very nice too. At the start I would follow the nurse around when distributing medicines, I also learned how to use hoists for some of the residents which has been useful. I escorted one of the residents to the hospital one time to get his ears checked and enjoyed spending time with him and keeping him company. My Gateway placement has been really worthwhile and I have learnt a lot.
