The international students who arrived half way through the year and are not sitting NCEA exams, along with some who could join for some non-exam days, participated in our international programme.

They did several activities with Townbelt Kaitiaki, went rock climbing at Long Beach, walked up Harbour Cone and down to Sandfly Bay, visited the museum, toured around the Catlins, and stayed on Quarantine Island. Some of their highlights were Sandfly Bay, Nugget Point in the Catlins, and the stay on Quarantine Island. They had new experiences - using a spade to dig holes to plant trees, cut/pull grass out from already planted trees, pull weeds, and touch some insects! We are very proud showing them around our beautiful part of the world and are very glad they enjoyed themselves.
