Last week the year 11 OE classes went to Long Beach. It was a great trip and everyone accomplished at least three climbs. Some of the highlights from the trip were getting to bond with the other classes, challenging ourselves, and cooking our own meals. We gained some valuable skills including learning to trust each other, perseverance and effective communication skills, and the importance of safety. Both days were beautiful and sunny, perfect for climbing. There were lots of laughs and many shouts of encouragement from friends. Both classes involved did well and we all challenged ourselves. The teachers were so supportive, so a big thanks to them for making it possible and making it a safe and enjoyable experience.
