Year 10 and 11 Textiles classes recently visited Stitch Kitchen where they learnt about their mission to inspire and build community through creative practices to reduce textile waste and its impact on our environment. Fiona Jenkin (Studio Manager) showed us the teaching spaces and vintage Pop up Shop. Many Volunteers sort the donated fabric and maintain an incredibly organised storage system of fabrics, zips, buttons and patterns.
