On Saturday, the 6th of September, we celebrated Hannah Fleming's wonderful achievement at a special ceremony that included young people from across our nation.

It was a privilege to join Hannah and her family in acknowledging the hard work and determination in gaining her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Hillary award. Sir Edmund's son, mountaineer and philanthropist, Peter Hillary presented the awards and spoke to the gathering about the young people who share the same values of humility and hard work that his father exhibited. Congratulations, Hannah. We are immensely proud of you.
