A busy month coming up for our cultural performers.

Saturday 8 June Rock Quest:
The Otago heats of the Smokefree Rockquest are being held at Taieri College, Green Street, on Saturday 8 June. Lily Green and Gabi Summerfield are performing in the solo section starting 12pm.

Saturday 8 / Sunday 9 June Chamber Music Contest:
This will be held at Marama Hall, University of Otago, Dunedin. We have three groups in this year's competition. All groups are performing in the Saturday 2.30pm session. Following the final session, the eight groups selected to perform in the District Final, will be announced.The recall final is at 7pm.

Sunday 9 June OGHS/OBHS Choir Concert at Knox Church:
In preparation for the BIG SING Choral Competition we have all our choirs performing their programmes at Knox Church on Sunday 9 June starting 4pm.

Wednesday 12 June BIG SING Choral Competition:
The competitive performance section of the BIG SING will start at 9.00am. Parents, students and staff are welcome to attend the adjudicated sessions for a gold coin donation. Otherwise I strongly recommended the evening Gala Concert.

Adjudicated sessions times:
Otago Boys’ High School Choir 9.45 am
Otago Girls’ Choir 11.00 am
Otago Girls’ Otago Boys’ Choir 12.00 pm
Pasifika Choir Cultural Chords 4.30 pm

The evening Gala Concert will start at 6.30pm. (Each choir performs one piece)
