On 10 May all the Year 10 enterprise students participated in Market Day. We had to come up with a product to sell at lunch to all the students and teachers. We had to do a range of things to prepare.

Last term we started to come up with a product that we would like to sell. Once we did that we had to fill out business plans, budgeting worksheets and checklists. Then we started to advertise. We put up posters around the school and sent out google forms to the school asking if they would buy our products.

Next, we got on to creating. There were lots of different items for sale such as cookies, rocky road, friendship bracelets, popcorn, stickers, lolly bags etc. At the start of lunch there were a bunch of students crowding into the hall.

Everyone was successful and sold most/all of their product. We had a really fun time doing this project.
