The annual Human Rights Festival was held last week.

A main focus of this festival is the displaying and judging of Human Rights boards from all the Year 10 Social Studies classes. A great variety of topics and presentations where on display.
A big congratulations to the winners: Brita Barton 1st (Single Mothers),
Sewmini Samuel 2nd (10 Days in a Mad House), Caitlin O'Donnell 3rd (William Booth). Other students Highly Commended were: Pippa Sparrow, Jennifer Marsh, Emma Jocelyn, Madeleine Gray, Hannah Matehaere, Kaiya Ishida, and Alleanna Salvador. Well done to all Year 10 students who completed their Human Rights board, your teachers appreciate all the time and effort that goes into producing it!
