Over 200 exuberant international high school students from ten Dunedin schools attended the annual Mayoral Welcome at Ōtākou Marae on Thursday 13 March. It was a real Dunner Stunner day where everybody soaked up the warmth of the sunshine, the beauty of the location, and the excitement of the event. For most students, this was their first experience at a marae and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  They chatted and took photos with new friends and very much appreciated the morning tea. It was sad to leave such a stunning location and fun time but we returned to school with happy memories.
