Year 10 choose iTime at the Library
As part of Year 10 Social Studies iTime, students had the opportunity to take charge of their learning. 21 students chose to visit the Dunedin Public Library, where they were welcomed by Elspeth, the Youth Services Supervisor. She introduced them to the many resources available, including ebooks, audiobooks, and the ‘Ask a Librarian’ service.
Students also learned about the Dewey Decimal System and applied their new knowledge to find books related to their human rights topic. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore how public libraries support both academic research and personal learning.
