Last weekend, ten OGHS athletes competed in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Athletics competition held in Timaru. These three days were filled with fantastic results from all the girls and some personal bests were also beaten. 

The girls truly impressed everyone with their results and it was easy to say the weekend was a success.

Here are some of our amazing athletes who gained top 3 placings:

Lisa Lokman placed 1st in the Senior Girls high jump and 2nd in the triple jump

Emelia Adamson placed 1st in the Girls under 16 high jump and 2nd in the long jump

Jessie McGrouther placed 3rd in the Senior Girl's hammer and 2nd in the shot put.
