Are you getting sore feet, knees or hips when you walk or run? The problem may be occurring due to your footwear.
Sprains, strains and postural problems
are quite common in children and young adults. These can be due to a variety
of reasons some of which include; an increase in physical
activity, muscle imbalance, altered alignment, poor postural habits, poor
walking or running posture etc. Your footwear has a part to play. Having the
correct footwear for your activity can help provide support, correcting
alignment problems and therefore resolving pain. In some cases inner soles or
orthotics may need to be prescribed combined with specific exercises to help
