During the weekend of 31 March -2 April, 13 girls competed in the South Island Athletics Championships held at the Caledonian Ground in Dunedin.

All the girls competing displayed great positivity and school spirit. Many girls gained personal bests in events; resulting in 11 girls making finals in track or top 8 in field events. A total of 14 medals being won across individual and team events.
