Our 26 Year 12 Business Studies students joined 130 others from around the region for a morning of training, information and motivation at Queen’s High School.

The students are involved in the national Young Enterprise Scheme which runs alongside their NZQA Level Two Business Studies course.

The morning was run by Robyn Frey from the Young Enterprise Trust and she was joined by a number of mentors and advisors from Dunedin. The students were able to work in their chosen groups and learn methods of transitioning a problem or passion to a viable product. Highlights were the “speed coaching” session and the talk by a previous CEO of a team which won the national competition producing “Where’s Woolly” a children’s book. It was an enjoyable, busy and beneficial morning.
