Rosie was the youngest on the team and the only South Islander in the silver medal winning New Zealand junior team. The team traveled to Riccione in Italy for the Surf Lifesaving Junior World Championships in September. 

Rosie won a bronze medal as part of the Women’s Ocean Relay Team. In the individual events she finished 6th in Beach flags, and 7th in Beach sprints.
