On Thursday last week, 24 students donated blood to New Zealand Blood Service.

With most of the girls donating blood for the first time, it was a bit nerve-racking. But not for long as all of the nurses at NZ Blood helped us out, and really made the experience enjoyable. Topping it all off with a drink and Tim Tams from the hostess, and a wee goody bag, all of the girls were quite happy with their experiences. Well done to everyone who did an amazing job saving some lives, and a big thank you to Ms Joyce and the Student Council for organising everything. Another big thank you to NZ Blood for making the experience so wonderful. We will be back to donate more soon enough!
