On Wednesday and Thursday eight senior international students spent two glorious days exploring the Catlins area with Miss Young and Miss Ward.

We stayed at the beautiful Whistling Frog Resort in Papatowai. There was lots of delicious home baking including German apple cake, and friendly banter along the way. The international choral broke out in Christmas carols, Welcome Table, Delilah, Don’t Stop Believing, Africa and the Chambered Nautilus. Highlights of the trip were McLean’s Falls, glow worms, Cathedral cave, Lake Wilkie, Curio Bay and Nugget Point. When we got to Nugget Point, Hanna said, “this is how I thought New Zealand would be ..... sea, green landscapes, blue skies and lots of sheep!”The girls had an awesome time and were positive and high spirited.
