As part of our year 12 Vocational Pathways course the class visited the Fire station.

The idea behind the trip was to show the students what the workplace was like and try out some of the basic fitness testing. The girls did well and impressed the Firemen with their fitness and willingness to get involved. The most difficult part had to be the blind crawl, this simulated what it was like to be in a smoky house with limited visibility. Next week we look forward to visiting the police station.
