Our choirs must be congratulated for their performances at the Big Sing Cadenza competition in Timaru.

The Otago Girls' High School Choir and the Otago Girls' and Otago Boys' High Schools Combined Choir received Merit and Distinction awards respectively for their recitals. The choirs would like to thank their director, Mr Ben Madden, accompanist, Miss Olivia Pike, student conductor, Meg Cunningham-Tisdall and student instrumentalists Anika Perenara and Cecile Wagener for all their hard work preparing the choirs for the Cadenza competition.
