On Monday, our international students attended a special Mayoral Welcome at Puketeraki Marae. This was a beautiful opportunity to officially welcome these students to our city and introduce them to the rich traditions and hospitality of the mana whenua.

Watching our students engage with local customs was a highlight for everyone involved, marking the beginning of deep connections between our visitors and this land.

Each of these students brings a unique cultural perspective to our school and our wider community, and we are so enriched by their presence. Whether they are here for a single term or several years, the diversity they share helps us all grow as global citizens.
