On Tuesday 20 August OGHS hosted Waitaki Girls' High School and Southland Girls' High School for the annual Triangular Tournament.

The triangular tournament is for Senior A teams and gives all of these teams that are going way on  tournaments during winter sports week an opportunity to play against other schools that they normally would not come up against. We also have debating in the exchange and it is great to be able to listen to these students so passionately speaking to the topic they have been challenged with. At the end of the day there is a winner and this year Waitaki Girls High School took out the tournament with Otago Girls' High School 2nd and Southland Girls' High School 3rd. It was a great day of competition and we look forward to 2020 when we challenge each other again.
