Attending school every day maximises students' learning. There is a strong correlation between attendance rates and academic achievement.

Please support your daughter to attend school every day. If your daughter is unwell, please notify Mrs Jill Grant (Attendance Officer) as soon as possible in the morning.

You can use the School App Absentee notification, call 4729727 or email jg@otagogirls.school.nz . The Assistant Heads of House track the weekly attendance rates of students in their House. They will make contact with you if attendance patterns begin to emerge and are a cause for concern. After three days in a row of absence due to illness, the school requires a medical certificate/doctor's letter to be handed in to Mrs Grant. We appreciate your support regarding attendance matters.
