Introducing our Arts Prefects

Fleur de Clifford and Hannah Scoullar —

Fleur de Clifford and Hannah Scoullar

Kia Ora everyone! My name is Fleur de Clifford and I am beyond excited to be one of your Arts Prefects for 2026 alongside Hannah. A bit about me, I have always loved music since a young age and first started on the trusty recorder in Year 5. I now play the flute and bass guitar and am also a proud member of the All Blues Jazz band here at Otago Girls. Over the years, I have also taken part in chamber music, orchestra and Rockquest. In my spare time, I love to play hockey, go mountain biking and hang out with my friends.

Hey everyone! My name is Hannah Scoullar and I’m super excited to be an Arts Prefect this year alongside Fleur. A few things about me, I found my love for drama in primary school, where I played the evil stepmother in Year 5. Over my time at Otago Girls I have taken drama every year, been in 4 school productions, and done nearly every drama extra curricular from Theatre Sports to Shakespeare Festival. I joined Theatre Sports in Year 9 and now get the joy of being one of the clubs leaders. Outside of school, I love spending time with my dog, reading as many books as possible, and singing my heart out.

This year, we are really excited to work alongside some awesome teachers to ensure the arts department is the best it can be. We have exciting plans for the year ahead and can’t wait to get started on bringing our ideas to life. One of our goals for this year is to bring all the different areas of the Arts together and we aim to do this by introducing an Arts Showcase, where each area of the Arts can present something they have worked on throughout the year!
